Please be advised that dance auditions for the Metropolitan Opera’s new production of EUGENE ONEGIN and EXTRA DANCERS for the 2013-2014 season will be as follows:

                                   Beginning at  11:30 A.M. – 1:30 P.M. *  AGMA MEN                    

                                   Beginning at    2:30 P.M. – 5:30 P. M. * OPEN CALL MEN

Friday April 19, 2013

                                  Beginning at  11:00 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. * OPEN CALL WOMEN

                                  Beginning at    3:30 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. * CALL BACK

The choreographer, Kim Brandstrup is looking for dancers with a strong all round technique and good acting abilities.

In order to fulfill this engagement you would need to be available for rehearsals beginning August 12, 2013 through the final dress scheduled for September 19, 2013 and as needed; and for November 5, 2013 through November 21, 2013 and as needed, and for performances scheduled for:

            September 23, 26, October 1, 5 matinee, 9, 12, 16, 19; November 23, 29, December 2, 5, 12, 2013..

Please enter the Metropolitan Opera House (Lincoln Center) through the Concourse doors into Founders’ Hall.  Auditions will be held in the dance studio, Studio C19.

If you are an AGMA member please bring your VALID AGMA membership card with you.  Please also bring a photo resume with you to the audition.

In order to fulfill this engagement you would need to be available for rehearsals beginning December 16, 2013 through the final dress scheduled for February 3, 2014 and as needed; and for performances scheduled for: 

            February 6, 10, 14, 17, 21, 24, March 1 matinee, 4, 8, 2014.

The choreographer Hofesh Shechter is looking for dancers with a strong contemporary dance technique with a fluid and continuous movement quality and a talent for floor work. Vital, energised and committed dancers to participate in this new production. 

In order to fulfill this engagement you would need to be available for rehearsals beginning September 16, 2013 through Final Dress scheduled for October 18, 2013 and as needed; and for performances scheduled for:

            October 21, 25, 30, November 2 matinee, 6, 9, 14, 2013.
