Michael Mayer’s new production of Verdi’s masterpiece opened January 28, with Michele Mariotti conducting Diana Damrau, Piotr Beczala, and Željko Lučić in the leading roles. It returned to the stage in April with an all-new cast. Here are some images from the premiere run.

Act III is set in a seedy club on the outskirts of Las Vegas, where the Duke (Piotr Beczala) meets Maddalena (Oksana Volkova), as Rigoletto and Gilda observe them from outside.
